چکیده

Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) and Software Measurement are at present increasingly important in Software Engineering research. Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) and Software Measurement are at present increasingly important in Software Engineering research They have, in fact, become important aspects of the software industry. Domain languages facilitate the software development process in a specific domain, and measurement can help to address certain critical issues in software development and maintenance by facilitating the making of decisions. This work presents a language which allows users to define software measurement models based on the Software Measurement Ontology. Syntactically and semantically correct models in this language conform to a specific measurement metamodel, which is aligned with the aforementioned ontology.

The Robust Software Metric Data Model Defined in XML

Software metric data model has always been restructured, redefined to fit their respective software metrics, and yet it will never been permanently shaped. It is important to have a generic data model to handle software measurement data in digital format that can actually help making software metrics definition in future much robust, definable and structured. In this paper software metric data ...

Relationship between skeletal muscle mass and liver fibrosis markers for patients with hepatitis C virus related liver disease

We aimed to elucidate the relationship between serum liver fibrosis markers (Mac-2 binding protein glycosylation isomer (M2BPGi), FIB-4 index, aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index and hyaluronic acid), and skeletal muscle mass and to investigate factors linked to skeletal muscle mass loss (SMML) in patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC, n = 277, median age = 64 years). We defined...

Automated Measurement of UML Models: an open toolset approach

The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the de facto standard language for modeling object-oriented software systems. As the importance of UML within organizations increases, the need for measuring UML models arises. This paper describes a UML measurement tool that not only fully supports the measurement of models according to the most popular metrics definitions, but also provides an open measu...

MML is not consistent for Neyman-Scott

Minimum Message Length (MML) is a popular method for statistical inference, belonging to the Minimum Description Length (MDL) family. It is a general name for any of several computationally-feasible approximations to the generally NP-Hard Strict Minimum Message Length (SMML) estimator. One often-cited showcase for the power of MML is the Neyman-Scott estimation problem, where most popular estim...

SMML Estimators for 1-Dimensional Continuous Data

Amethod is given for calculating the strict minimummessage length (SMML) estimator for 1-dimensional exponential families with continuous sufficient statistics. A set of n equations are found that the n cut-points of the SMML estimator must satisfy. These equations can be solved using Newton’s method and this approach is used to produce new results and to replicate results that C. S. Wallace ob...
